MITEQ ACQUIRES MCL

May 2, 2000 - MITEQ Inc. of Hauppauge, New York, today announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire substantially all of the assets of MCL, Inc. of Bolingbrook, Illinois, a highly reputable manufacturer of RF high power amplifiers.

With the emphasis in areas where MITEQ has excelled (technical development, quality of product and customer service), it is expected that the alliance of the two companies will facilitate and accelerate new product development, improve customer service and expand both organizations' capabilities in targeting the growing communication market.
